I have been baking for over 30 years. My passion began when I first moved to Winnipeg. I worked with Chef Andy who would on occasion make amazing wedding and birthday cakes. I would watch and I knew that is what I would love to learn how to do. From there I was self taught with books that I had bought and soon I was making cakes for a cake show in Winnipeg. I won in two categories – second place for wedding cakes and first in the birthday category.
I decided that I should take some classes and learned so much more. From wedding cakes to cookies, I followed my passion. Now I have decided to do just cookies. Inspiration is everywhere. I hope you are inspired too.
